I'm a Work in Progress

At my field experience we have officially launched a round robin sketch box (fearnoartblog.wordpress.com)! The theme for this project is "Myself Squared," so for my first piece of art I decided to use 3" x 3". This is what I have thus far from yesterday, simply doing a gesture sketch using my wonderful Pilot fountain pen. Today I think I will add some watercolor or colored pencils, anything to give a little burst of color. Yesterday as I was working on this piece, I thought about Philippians 1:6-"And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ." I am a work in progress, and it is so good to know that God isn't done with me yet.
